Hard Underbelly

The official news spot for Hard Underbelly.

There is a new comic up. Sorry about skipping Monday, but consider that that was the first time in the run of Hard Underbelly that I've had to skip a comic. A lot of the big guns do it every once in a while, and most of the little guys do it all the time. I like to think that I've seperated myself from the herd of small on-line comics in that I publish fairly consistently.

Dark Carny at the Pink Door was fun.

I've been playing WarCraft 3: the Frozen Throne. It's good stuff. I highly recommend it to people that, well, liked WarCraft 3: Reign of Chaos. I just read that Bill Roper and a bunch of other people have left Blizzard. This makes me both happy and sad. On the one hand, it makes me fear for the quality of future Blizzard products. On the other hand, I'm eager to see what these guys will create on their own.

Have you ever read Diesel Sweeties? Well you should. Also, I got an honorable mention in the look-a-like contest. Check me out as Indie Rock Pete.

Just below the navigation buttons on the main page there is now a voting button. You can use it to vote for Hard Underbelly. It's not like I'm trying to win a contest, but the more votes I have, the higher my comic can be displayed in the index, and the more people will see it. The voting doesn't take long, it just shows you a quick page saying thanks for voting, and you're done. So please, if you could take a few seconds out of your busy day to vote, I would be very grateful.

In other webcomic news Shaw Island is splitting into two comics. Far out.

Stompy's page is broken, and it makes me sad. I like the forums there, and she's the only person hosting my webcam. On the plus side, I don't have to worry about updating my webcam untill it's fixed.

Photo developing is going well in class.

Mood: Okay
Music: Stumbleine; by Smashing Pumpkins

Okay, I'm finally back. There is a new comic up. Also, there will be no comic on Monday, because I did not have my art supplies all weekend, and was unable to do any drawing. So we're just going to skip to having a new comic on Wednesday, and continuing from there.

I was waiting for the bus in Lynnwood on Thursday when I heard a guy complaining that he couldn't get a job. I can sympathize with that. But do you want to know why he couldn't get a job? Apparently he just got out of the slammer after four years for robbing a bank! But the thing is, he talked as if it was the employers fault. Really, he had no one to blame for robbing that bank but himself, and if it made it harder for him to get a job in the future, well, duh! He really should have seen that coming.

I'm going to go and see Dark Carny tonight. Fun.
