WHAT IS THE SHIZNIT? (wherein tristan tells you what the shiznit is)
Mood: Good
Music: Wonderwall; the Ryan Adams cover of the Oasis classic
Joan of Arcadia is the shiznit. I know what you're thinking, but it's actually a good show. It's one of those shows that whenever I saw it advertised I thought, what a piece of crap. And then I was forced to realize my mistake while channel surfing. Other shows that I thought were crap based on their ads and was later forced to admit were excellent are: Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Ed, the BBC Coupling, Smallville, and the Vicar of Dibley.

MONDAY, BLOODY MONDAY
Mood: Okay
Music: Delicate; by Damien Rice
On Monday's comic...it's a sex joke. And really, it's not much of a joke. You should count yourselves lucky that we're over a hundred comics in and this is the first overtly sexual stuff I've had happen. Back in the early days of Not All There, for instance, most of the comics were painful expressions of pent-up, adolescently naive sexual frustration. But this being the rough time of Valentine's Day, I figured it was a good time to introduce the Anne/Saul relationship. It'd been hinted at before, but now you know.
