I'M DOING THIS FOR YOU
Mood: Good
Music: Go, Hippie; by Fountains Of Wayne
Okay, I'm trying out doing Hard Underbelly five days a week. Why am I doing this? For many reasons. One, Hard Underbelly is not as big as I would like it to be, and for it to grow in readership and popularity, I feel some more effort is required on my part. Two, It's moving to slowly for my tastes. I'd like the story to move along at a nice, brisk pace, but three days a week is to slow. This is also loosely related to my desire to do other comics in the future, but at the rate Hard Underbelly is going, that's a couple of years off. I'm not willing to wait that long, so Hard Underbelly is updating more frequently, which practically cuts the time it's going to be going on in half. Three, I'm tired of feeling like a weekend warrior in this. I want Hard Underbelly to be more than a hobby, and for that to happen, I've got to stop treating it like one.
That practical ramifications of this should become clear pretty quickly. If I was using the old schedule, this chapter would have ended on Wednesday next week. But as it stands now, it's ending on Friday, with a new chapter starting on Monday. Sweet, eh?
Remember, you're not getting less comics or anything, they're just coming quicker.

FROM THE CASCADES TO PUGET SOUND
Mood: Good
Music: This Place Is A Prison; by the Postal Service
Okay, Monday's comic is in the hopper, and should appear, well, Monday.
I'm currently in that scary place between when one job ends, and the other begins.
I'm also a few days into my new, hairless lifestyle. Also, I'm a few days into being on Friendster. It's fun. People, especcially Trixie and Ryan, should join, and then I'll have more than just one friend on my list, which is kind of sad.
An impartial look at the facts will show that Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the best Harry Potter movie ever. Not only does it have Gary Oldman, one of the coolest actors ever, but they finally have a real director, as opposed to Christopher Columbus, who is a talentless hack. One fo the best improvements is that some of the kids can actually act now.
I'm going to try and find a way to stick this news section in a little window on the main page.
