SILENT MUSIC FOR THE MASSES
Music: Crank Heart; by Xiu Xiu
It occurs to me that I forgot to officially announce the launch of my new comic here. Hard Underbelly is still running, but now there's something totally new to read and enjoy as well: The Wrong Band. It's got absolutely no vampires or anything supernatural in it. It's got a more organic story and artistic structure which leaves me free to write whatever I want into it. It is sporadically in color. The first one can be found here. I feel that this comic can bring the funny more often than Hard Underbelly, since with HU I'm constantly forced to move along the plot.
In other news, if you're not already watching the amazing new tv show 'Lost', get off your ass. It's fuckin' brilliant. I eagerly await each episode with the weak-stomached intensity of a tweaker mixing a revolutionary new meth formula.
I'm hoping Mt St Helens erupts in a giant plume of smoke, ash, and burning hot lava. Life in Seattle can get boring, and I think a nice, shiny new apocalypse would help break the tedium. I know it's not gonna be that big when the eruption comes, but a man can dream, can't he?
